8th Annual 4th of July Community Reading
Join us for the Eighth Annual Fourth of July Community Reading and Discussion! Featuring Songs of Freedom performed by Martha Burns. All 12 and over are welcome.
July 4, 2022, 10 am-12:30 pm
Alden Pavilion behind Shaw Memorial Library (312 Main Street, Plainfield, MA 01070)
We will reading together, the Declaration of Independence and Frederick Douglass' Fourth of July Address (1852, abbr.). Then we will discuss in small groups. We will provide text; you can also find it online at swiftriverpress.com.
We will congregate under and around the pavilion. (bring a chair -- RAIN OR SHINE).
The event will be live-streamed on facebook.
