Shakespeare & Company Presents Noël Coward's "Private Lives"

A divorced couple, Elyot and Amanda are honeymooning with their new spouses in the South of France. By chance they meet across adjoining hotel balconies, and without concern for scandal, their new partners, or any memory of what drove them apart in the first place, Elyot and Amanda rekindle their former tempestuous relationship.

Chock-full of witty dialogue and laughs, Noël Coward’s Private Lives is considered one of the greatest comedies ever written.

Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA presents Private Lives in the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre through March 30th. The production is directed by Shakespeare and Company’s Artistic Director, Tony Simotes.

Dana Harrison and David Joseph (who play Amanda and Elyot) join us to tell us more.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
