Albany, NY – In today's Academic Minute, Dr. Rich Wolfson of Middlebury College discusses why scientists can struggle to explain themselves to the general public.
Dr. Wolfson earned a Ph.D. in physics at Dartmouth. He is professor of physics, with research focusing on the sun's outer atmosphere, the corona, and coronal ejections--huge outbursts that eject solar material into space.
Dr. Wolfson is the author of "Nuclear Choices: A Citizen's Guide to Nuclear Technology."
