Today: Mostly cloudy skies with an occasional lake effect snow shower during the afternoon. Organized lake effect snow will impact portions of the western Mohawk Valley beginning this morning through this evening. Snowfall accumulations of 4-8" will be possible through southern herkimer county. Highs today will be chilly ranging from the upper teens to lower 20s with a brisk west-northwest wind 15-25 mph, gusting to 35 mph or higher in exposed areas.
Tonight: partly mostly cloudy skies, Lake effect snow moves south into Otsego county, bringing a few inches of new snow, before the ending by tomorrow morning. Lows tonight will range from the single digit to lower teens and a west west-northwest wind will a breezy 10-20 mph.
Tomorrow: mostly cloudy skies. Highs are in the upper teens to low 20s with a west-northwest wind 10-20 mph, gusting to 30 mph or higher in exposed areas. Lake effect snow showers are possible from the Western Mohawk valley to the western Adirondacks with additional light accumulations possible.
