Shaker Museum Mount Lebanon Names Executive Director

The Shaker Museum Mount Lebanon in Columbia County has named an executive director with experience working in the region. Lacy Schutz will be responsible for overseeing a National Historic Landmark and 56,000-item collection starting in February. A native of Lincoln, Nebraska Schutz studied at Bennington College and worked at The Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts. WAMC’s Berkshire Bureau Chief Jim Levulis spoke with Schutz about her new role.

Museum President David Stocks resigned in August for another position.

Jim was WAMC’s Assistant News Director and hosted WAMC's flagship news programs: Midday Magazine, Northeast Report and Northeast Report Late Edition.
