Dozens of community and environmental advocates are calling on New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to preserve climate and clean energy funding, despite COVID-19 related financial woes. This comes during Climate Week, during which the governor has unveiled a number of projects and initiatives.

The sloop Clearwater will sail into New York City this weekend to kick off climate week.

Massachusetts Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs Kathleen A. Theoharides was in Western Massachusetts this week as part of a statewide tour for Climate Week. Governor Charlie Baker’s administration is rolling out three new initiatives, including $11 million in new spending on climate change preparedness programs and over $800,000 on culvert projects.
