NHL-SCHEDULE

— Henrik Lundqvist posted his second shutout of the season and 63rd of his career by stopping 20 shots in the Rangers' 3-0 verdict over the Senators. Mats Zuccarello set up third-period goals by Michael Grabner and Mika Zibanejad after Kevin Hayes opened the scoring 4:46 into the second.

Teuvo Teravainen was quite productive in his 100th game with the Carolina Hurricanes.

The forward scored twice and had an assist as the Hurricanes ended the Islanders' three-game win streak 4-2. Sebastian Aho ran his goal streak to four games and added an assist to help Carolina avenge Thursday's 6-4 loss to New York.

NHL-NEWS

The Winnipeg Jets say defenseman Toby Enstrom will be out eight weeks with a lower-body injury.

Enstrom didn't play the third period of Saturday's 5-2 win over the New Jersey Devils because of the undisclosed injury.

Also in the NHL

— Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas has been suspended for 10 games without pay by the NHL for slashing Winnipeg forward Mathieu Perreault in Thursday's win by the Jets. Gudas is considered a repeat offender under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

NFL-SCHEDULE

The New Orleans Saints picked up their eighth consecutive victory on Sunday, but they needed a miraculous finish to do it.

The Saints scored 15 points in the last three minutes of regulation before Wil Lutz drilled a 28-yard field goal in overtime to give them a 34-31 win over Washington. Mark Ingram capped a 131-yard rushing performance with gains of 20 and 31 yards on back-to-back carries to set up the winning kick.

Drew Brees (breez) finished with 385 passing yards but didn't have a TD throw until he hit Josh Hill for a three-yard score with 2:53 left in the fourth quarter. Alvin Kamara tied it 1:48 later, scoring on an 18-yard reception before taking a pitch on a misdirection play for the two-point conversion.

The Redskins had a chance to pull out the win until Kirk Cousins was called for intentional grounding, taking Washington out of field goal range.

The Saints remain unbeaten since an 0-2 start. The Redskins are 4-6 following their second straight loss.

The Vikings joined the Saints at 8-2 by picking up their sixth straight win, silencing the Rams 24-7 at Minnesota. Latavius Murray rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns for the Vikings, who also scored when Adam Thielen turned a short catch into a 65-yard trek to the end zone. Case Keenum completed 27 of 38 passes for 280 yards and no turnovers against the team that benched him last season for No. 1 overall draft pick Jared Goff.

The 7-3 Rams ended a four-game winning streak in which they scored 144 points.

The Patriots are also 8-2 and tied with Pittsburgh for the best record in the AFC. Tom Brady threw for 339 yards and three touchdowns in New England's 33-8 pounding of the Raiders.

Brady completed his first 12 passes with a steady stream of short throws before he unloaded a 64-yard TD to Brandin Cooks on the third play of the second half, giving New England a 24-0 lead.

The Raiders fell to 4-6 and didn't score until Derek Carr's TD pass to Amari Cooper in the fourth quarter.

The NFL's best team remains the Eagles after Carson Wentz threw for two touchdowns and three 2-point conversions in Philadelphia's 37-9 rout of the Cowboys. Wentz went the conversion route after the Eagles lost kicker Jake Elliott to a head injury.

The 9-1 Eagles outscored the Cowboys 30-0 in the second half while extending their winning streak to eight games, their longest since 2003-04.

Dallas QB Dak Prescott threw a career-high three interceptions and lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown in his second straight loss without suspended running back Ezekiel Elliott

Elsewhere in Week 11 of the NFL season:

— The Giants pulled out a 12-9 win over the Chiefs on a 23-yard field goal by Aldrick Rosas in overtime. Roger Lewis Jr. made a spectacular catch at the Kansas City 2 to set up the winning kick that allowed New York to improve to 2-8. The Giants scored their first nine points off Alex Smith interceptions and sent the 6-4 Chiefs to their fourth loss in five games.

— Cleveland's winless run continues after Blake Bortles threw a touchdown pass and linebacker Telvin Smith recovered a fumble for a TD with 1:14 remaining to ensure Jacksonville's fourth consecutive win, 19-7 against the Browns. The Jaguars improved to 7-3 and secured the win when their No. 1-ranked defense recorded two of its five turnovers in the final two minutes. The Browns fell to 0-10 and have won just once in 26 games under head coach Hue Jackson.

— Matt Prater's 52-yard field goal with 1:35 remaining was the difference as the Lions outlasted the Bears 27-24. Matthew Stafford threw for 299 yards and two touchdowns, but it was his 42-yard drive that set up the winning kick that left Detroit 6-4. The Lions escaped with their third straight win when Connor Barth was wide right on a 46-yarder in the closing seconds, putting Chicago at 3-7.

— The Ravens earned their third shutout of the season by forcing five turnovers in a 23-0 rout at Green Bay. Joe Flacco was 22 of 28 passing for 183 yards and a touchdown, but Baltimore's offense didn't reach the end zone until he hit Mike Wallace for a TD early in the third quarter. The Ravens evened their record at 5-5 and dealt the 5-5 Packers their first shutout loss in 11 years.

— Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman was picked off five times in the first half of his first NFL start as the Chargers thumped Buffalo 54-24 to get to 4-6. Korey Toomer returned Peterman's first interception 59 yards for a touchdown on Buffalo's opening drive. Casey Hayward intercepted two passes before Peterman was replaced by Tyrod Taylor, who threw for a TD and had a scoring run for the 5-5 Bills.

— The Jaguars knocked off the Cardinals 31-21 as rookie D'Onta Foreman ran for 65 yards and a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns before leaving with an ankle injury. The 4-6 Texans ended a three-game skid and won despite two turnovers by Tom Savage, who has lost six fumbles and thrown three interceptions in four starts this season. Andy Dalton threw three touchdown passes in helping Cincinnati win at Denver for the first time in 11 tries since 1975. Trailing by a field goal with 1:52 left, the Broncos went three-and-out with Brock Osweiler taking a sack and then firing incomplete to Emmanuel Sanders on fourth-and-4 from his own 26.

— Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns in the Buccaneers' second straight win 30-20 at Miami. GOLF-TOURNAMENTS

Lexi Thompson won $1 million for the CME Race to the Globe, but she also left a victory and a season honor on the table.

Thompson was poised to win the CME Group Tour Championship and LPGA player of the year until she missed a 2-foot par putt that allowed Ariya Jutanugarn to take a one-shot victory. Jutanugarn birdied her last two holes for a 5-under 67.

Thompson's loss also cost her the LPGA Player of the Year award. So Yeon Ryu and Sung Hyun Park share the award, with Park becoming the first tour rookie to win it since Nancy Lopez in 1978.

On the PGA Tour, rookie Austin Cook has his first career victory after closing with a 3-under 67 for a four-stroke victory over J.J. Spaun at the RSM Classic in Georgia. Cook birdied three of his last four holes for a 21-under total that also gave him a spot in the Masters next year.

OBIT-SEGURA

Pancho Segura, who rose from poverty to win six U.S. Pro singles and doubles championships and was one of the world's top amateur tennis players in the 1940s and professionals in the 1950s, has died. He was 96.
