He won the NBA's Sixth Man award in 1995 with New York and earned an All-Star berth in 2001 with the Heat.

The New York Rangers have acquired All-Star defenseman Keith Yandle from the Arizona Coyotes for defenseman John Moore, a top prospect and two draft picks. Arizona also sent defenseman Chris Summers and a fourth-round draft pick to the Rangers, who gave up prospect Anthony Duclair, a conditional first-round draft pick in 2016 and a second-rounder this year. The Blueshirts also picked up forward James Sheppard from San Jose for a fourth-round draft pick in 2016. The 26-year-old Sheppard has five goals and 16 points in 57 games this season.

NCAA:

In top 25 men’s college basketball, UConn upset No. 21 SMU 81-73.

Monmouth bested Siena 63-57. On Saturday, UAlbany topped Vermont 79-73.

In women’s college hoops, Manhattan outlasted Quinnipiac 69-65 yesterday. Emmy Andujar made a free throw, jumper and layup in the final four minutes to preserve the win. Andujar finished with 18 points, and Ashton Pankey added 17 for Manhattan. Zaid Hearst led Quinnipiac with 22 points and nine rebounds.

NASCAR:

Jimmie Johnson has won the second Sprint Cup race of the season. Johnson pulled away after a final restart with 13 laps to go before winning the Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It was the 71st victory of Johnson's career, and his fourth in Atlanta. Runner-up Kevin Harvick finished 1.8 seconds behind Johnson.

MLB:

Minnie Minoso was one of Chicago's all-time favorite baseball players as he was selected to nine All-Star games and won three Gold Gloves. Minoso has died, according to the Cook County medical examiner. There is some question about Minoso's age, but the White Sox say he was 90.

Snow Sports:

Kelly Clark won the snowboard halfpipe in the U.S. Grand Prix yesterday in Park City, Utah, for her second FIS World Cup victory of the season, easily beating 18-year-old American teammate Arielle Gold. The 31-year-old Clark, from West Dover, Vermont, had a 94.50-point run. She also won the overall Sprint U.S. Grand Prix tour title.

Kiley McKinnon and Mac Bohonnon gave the United States its first ever World Cup title double in aerials skiing.

McKinnon becomes the first U.S. woman to win the World Cup since 1998, while Bohonnon is the first American men's winner since 2005.

PGA:

Paul Casey and Patrick Reed shared the lead when the final round of the Honda Classic was suspended at PGA National in Florida.

Casey played the front nine at 4-under to get to minus-7. Reed had 12 holes remaining in his round when play was halted by darkness.

Third-round leader Ian Poulter was one stroke back and two ahead of Phil Mickelson, Jeff Overton, Brendan Steele and Russell Knox.

Players headed right back out to play as many holes as they could in their fourth round this afternoon. The tournament concludes Monday.

South Korean Amy Yang has earned her second career LPGA title at the Honda Thailand, finishing two strokes ahead of third-round leader Stacy Lewis, two-time champion Tseng Yani of Taiwan and South Korean Mirim Lee. Yang closed with a 3-under 69 for a 15-under total.

Lewis led after three rounds and remained in contention until she double-bogeyed 15 while Yang birdied.

Top-ranked Lydia Ko shot a 1-under 70 to win the New Zealand Women's Open by four shots. The victory comes on the heels of the 17-year-old's win last week in the Women's Australian Open.
