Governor Andrew Cuomo made the announcement during a noon press conference at the state capitol on Saturday, where he declared a State of Emergency.

The individuals were described as a 57-year-old pharmacist and a 52-year-old woman who came into contact with an infected person from Pennsylvania while attending a conference in Miami.

The cases are the first announced for Saratoga County.

Eleven cases have been confirmed in New York City, 57 in Westchester County, two in Rockland County, four in Nassau County.

Cuomo said he will instruct nursing homes and senior-care facilities in the New Rochelle area to restrict outside visitors.
