New York State Police are investigating how a teen was injured while skiing at Whiteface Mountain.
When state troopers responded Saturday afternoon, Whiteface EMS and Wilmington Rescue were tending to a 14-year-old from New Jersey with a head injury.
No details were released on how the male skier sustained the injury, but he was airlifted to the University of Vermont Medical Center with a life-threatening injury.
