2nd Worker Hurt In Upstate NY Asphalt Plant Explosion Dies

The second of three workers injured in an explosion at an upstate New York asphalt plant has died.

A lawyer for the plant's parent firm, the Gorman Group of Albany, tells the Times Union that 42-year-old Al Crowter died Thursday at Westchester Medical Center. He and two co-workers were injured Oct. 17 in an explosion at the Mohawk Asphalt Emulsions plant in the Schenectady County town of Glenville.  One of the co-workers died Oct. 19 at the same hospital.
