Hudson Valley, NY – As government cuts back spending and analysts argue over whether the recession is ending or just about to worsen, campaign finance reform might not seem like a front-burner issue. But Hudson Valley bureau chief Susan Barnett reports that voters might be particularly sensitive to what they see as wasteful spending - or inappropriate use of campaign funds - when everyone is pinching every penny.
