First of a Series of Cell Towers to Cover Dead Zone Activated Along Adirondack Northway

North Hudson, NY – Verizon Wireless on Thursday activated the first of thirteen planned cell phone towers along the Adirondack Northway. The towers will fill a nearly 50-mile service gap along a remote stretch of the highway that connects Albany and Montreal. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
