Albany, NY – The NY State Senate is taking action on Jonathan's Law, to ensure that parents and guardians have access to records pertaining to allegations and investigations of the mistreatment of children in residential care facilities. The legislation was introduced after the death of 13-year old Jonathan Carey, who lived at a state-run center. Capital District Bureau Chief Dave Lucas reports.
