Berkshire Innovation Center Finds First Tenant With Mill Town Capital Partnership

The first tenant of the Berkshire Innovation Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, will be local venture capital firm Mill Town Capital.

The almost $14 million research and development center is set to open in January. Executive Director Ben Sosne cited Mill Town’s work with entrepreneurs, company development and expansion, and diverse investments as an asset to the BIC.

“We’re excited to partner with them. We’ve been in touch with them for quite a while as we’ve brought the Berkshire Innovation Center online. We felt that they’re sort of a premier firm in the region and have an expertise that could really help our members, tenants, staff, interns.”

The BIC is located in the William Stanley Business Park – formerly the campus of General Electric.
