Report: Student Debt Rising At Massachusetts Public Universities

       A recent report from a left-leaning research center said student loan debt has been growing rapidly for graduates of Massachusetts’ four-year public colleges and universities.

      The report from the Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center says funding for public higher education in recent years has shifted from the state budget to students and their parents.  

       WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with the center’s president Noah Berger.
