Olivier Meslay is expected to start as director of The Clark Art Institute August 22.

The Clark Art Institute has selected Olivier Meslay of the Dallas Museum of Art as its next director. Meslay has been working in the art world for 35 years and replaces Michael Conforti who retired last summer after nearly two decades leading The Clark.Meslay spoke with WAMC about why he decided to join the Williamstown art museum, home to nearly 10,000 works. Meslay is expected to start at The Clark August 22nd.
