Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders is planning two events in Massachusetts Saturday, Jan. 2.Sanders will host a “Future to Believe In” rally at 1 o’clock at UMass Amherst’s Fine Arts Center. Doors open at noon for the free event, but Sander’s campaign suggests RSVPing through its website. From there the Vermont senator heads to North High School in Worcester for a 5 p.m. event. The self-described Democratic socialist is polling behind former Secretary of State and New York senator Hillary Clinton in the race for the Democratic nomination.
Meanwhile, Republican front-runner Donald Trump is planning an event Monday, Jan. 4 at UMass Lowell. The rally starts at 7 p.m.
