Vermont U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders plans to meet with supporters across the country tonight through a video link. As WAMC’s North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley reports, boosters expect big crowds across our region.
Meet-ups are planned across New York, New England and the nation as Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders launches his grassroots presidential campaign. The campaign claims to have more than 3,000 gatherings scheduled Wednesday night in all 50 states. More than 100 are occurring across New York and Vermont.
Doug Bullock is helping organize Capital District events. “The purpose is to fuse them into a campaign for Bernie and start a grassroots effort to support Bernie Sanders.”
