Young and old are taking over Tanglewood tonight. The duo of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are performing at 8 o’clock.With hits dating back to the middle of the 20th century, Bennett is joined by Lady Gaga of current pop fame. The Boston Symphony Orchestra’s managing director Mark Volpe says Bennett has a lasting effect.
“People like Sinatra said he was the greatest singer of his time and his time continues,” Volpe said. “We’re thrilled to have Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett together at Tanglewood.”
The duo will perform songs from their “Cheek to Cheek” album.
