A police report released Wednesday finds PCP use and excessive speed led to the deaths of two men when the car they were in crashed into a wall outside Pittsfield High School in January.Pittsfield Police say an investigation has shown the driver, 31 year-old Ernest Duck Jr. was under the influence of PCP and was unable to safely drive a vehicle. On Jan. 14, Duck Jr. drove a 2013 Nissan Altima owned by the Hertz rental car company down Second St. at a speed upwards of 100mph. The car crossed East St. and hit a curb causing it to go airborne before crashing into a concrete wall outside Pittsfield High School. Duck Jr. and 24 year-old Tariq Salley, both of Pittsfield, were killed. Classes had let out about a half-hour before. No one else was injured.

Police say illegal substances were found in the systems of both men. PCP can cause people to hallucinate and is typically mixed with marijuana and smoked.
