Join the Memorial Concert Band of Colonie for Peace, Love, Music, the first concert of their 27th Season. The Memorial Concert Band, sponsored by the Town of Colonie, is the premier concert band of the Capital Region. The program includes pieces from the classic repertoire, "Liebestod" from Wagner's opera "Tristan and Isolde” and "Il Guarany" by A. Carlo Gomez, as well as 21st century compositions, including "Halcyon Hearts" by Katahj Copley, "Affirmation" by Randall Standridge, and "Pacem" by Robert Spittal. Under the baton of MSgt. Art Himmerberger USA(Ret), the Memorial Concert Band will entertain and inspire you.

Bridge Street Theatre presents "Mendings of Time: A Live Percussion Immersive Experience" on Friday, October 17, 2025 with three performances at 10:30am, 2:00pm, and 7:00pm — each show offering a distinct, one-of-a-kind experience. This immersive project by Jeff Tripoli and Sam Fishman combines live percussion, improvisation, meditation, movement, and sound design to create a meditative escape — a space to reconnect with inner rhythm and find healing through vibration and silence alike.

Tripoli, known for his work with Canadian Celtic folk rockers The Town Pants and his album Perspectives, mixes electronic, sample-based, and acoustic textures for rich soundscapes rarely heard in conventional percussion. Sam Fishman, currently the drummer for Driftwood, brings years of experience in live performance, studio work, and teaching. This show offers not just performance but sanctuary: a chance to let sound wash over you, to pause, to feel, to awaken.

Mendings of Time, a dynamic percussion duo formed by Jeff Tripoli and Sam Fishman, will be performing live at the Bridge Street Theatre on Saturday, October 17, 2025. Their debut release, “Wilburland Sessions” is a beautiful blend of improvisation, meditation, and minimalism—designed to transport listeners to a higher plane of existence through the power of rhythm and sound.

The connection between Jeff and Sam was nothing short of destiny, and together, they create a performance that is both transcendent and deeply immersive. The duo’s unique ability to blend deep listening and transformative percussion offers an unforgettable experience that your patrons will not want to miss!

Stella Silbert is an improviser, audio editor, curator, cook, field recordist, disorganizer of sounds, and organizer of multi-disciplinary gatherings in Western Massachusetts.

She currently works with prepared turntable, no-input mixing board, and microphone feedback.

The New York based Progressive Americana group Nefesh Mountain Band has been hailed as one of the formative boundary-pushing ensembles in roots music. The band’s creators and dynamic husband and wife team of Eric Lindberg and Doni Zasloff have created a world and sound all their own; blurring the lines between Americana, Bluegrass, Folk, Jazz and Blues with a masterful hand as songwriters, instrumentalists and composers alike. The band, declared “A Powerhouse Unit” by Rolling Stone and “Introspective lyrics and world class musicianship” by American Songwriter, takes the listener on a deeply personal journey that embodies their own wild nature and unbridled free spirits, bridging compositional prowess and prolific songwriting with deft instrumentals and jams.

Roomful of Teeth is a Grammy-winning vocal band dedicated to reimagining the expressive potential of the human voice. By engaging collaboratively with artists, thinkers, and community leaders from around the world, the group seeks to uplift and amplify voices old and new while creating and performing meaningful and adventurous music.

Founded in 2009 by Brad Wells, the band was incubated at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) in North Adams, Massachusetts, where members studied with some of the world’s most extraordinary singers and teachers. Through experimentation, exploration, and plenty of failures, the group learned that the boundaries of the human voice are never what they seem, that rules can be bent, even broken, and perhaps they should be.

Through their unique collaborative process, Roomful of Teeth has worked with many of today’s most compelling musical creators to build a significant and continuously growing repertoire. They have collaborated with a wide range of artists and ensembles spanning genres and art forms.

As the world rapidly changes, Roomful of Teeth is cultivating deeper relationships with technology, continuing to explore and expand the artistic reach of the human voice. They are excited about new collaborative projects focused on stories of place, home, and community in diverse environments around the world. They explore, learn, and collaborate with passionate curiosity, contagious enthusiasm, and deep gratitude.

Join Champion Scottish fiddler Seán Heely and a cast of nationally-acclaimed artists on a magical journey through Scotland and Ireland during the holidays. The fiddle and bagpipes will sweep you away to Christmastime and Winter Solstice celebrations along with featured dancers from Scottish and Irish traditions that are sure to lift your holiday spirits and warm your heart. Kilts and tartan abound as the show travels through ancient Gaelic carols and songs, tucked in perfectly with lively Irish tunes and familiar Christmas and seasonal melodies with a Celtic twist. Heely is a DC-based US National Scottish Fiddle Champion, award-winning Irish fiddler, Scots Gaelic Singer, and harpist.
