Be a part of the Annual Christmas Bird Count held by the National Audubon Society! A tradition for over 125 years, the CBC is the nations largest community science effort on birds. This annual census includes volunteer birdwatchers from all over the Western Hemisphere. It has grown to have over 80,000 volunteers conducting local counts each year at more than 2,000 sites in the United States, almost 500 in Canada, and over 180 in Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Islands.
Participants can monitor by car, foot, boat, or even their birdfeeder in their backyard!
