Saratoga Book Festival
The third annual Friends’ Saratoga Book Festival will take place October 12-15, 2023, bringing together more than 60 talented presenters from near and far for a celebration of reading. Featured authors include Wally Lamb, Dani Shapiro, Simon Winchester, Roz Chast, and Meghan O'Rourke, and Kid Note children's author Chris Grabenstein.
The multi-day festival features big-stage presentations, intimate conversations, engaging workshops, a Literary Marketplace, Local Author Showcase, KidZone, and more held in nine venues in historic downtown Saratoga Springs, New York, including the Saratoga City Center, Universal Preservation Hall, Caffè Lena, Saratoga Springs Public Library, Saratoga Arts, the Spa Little Theatre at SPAC, and Skidmore College. The main festival day is Saturday, October 14. Nearly all events are free. Tickets to "An Evening with Wally Lamb," presented in partnership with Literary Arts@SPAC cost $15 and benefit the Friends of the Saratoga Springs Public Library.
