Community Chat: Making Albany More Just And Equitable

WAMC photo by Dave Lucas

How do you make a city more just and equitable? Begin  with a "community conversation".

It's all about planning for the future.   Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan is welcoming citizens to  City Hall, tonight from 6 to 7:30 p.m., for a brainstorming session.   "We're inviting people to City Hall tonight for a conversation about how we can make Albany a more racially and economically just and equitable city. I'm going to be talking about what my administration is doing on this front. But we're also seeking input from residents as well, so we hope that they'll come out to city hall tonight a six o'clock," said the mayor.

The event is being held in the rotunda.
