Tom Judson's “Nature Boy: Songs of Earth and Sky” at Helsinki on Broadway

This Saturday at 9pm, Tom Judson will perform “Nature Boy: Songs of Earth and Sky” as part of the Helsinki Hudson and Showstoppers New York series Helsinki on Broadway.

Tom Judson has appeared onstage as a singer, musician and actor. His cabaret shows have been seen in New York City at The Metropolitan Room, 54 Below and in rooms across the country. He has composed music for off-Broadway (Vampire Lesbians of Sodom) film (Whit Stillman's Metropolitan) television (Sesame Street) and appeared on Broadway in Cabaret, in the 42nd Street National Tour and many off-Broadway and regional productions.

This interview acknowledges the existence of the adult film industry and Tom's participation in it (as Gus Mattox).

Tom Judson joins us along with Lee Tannen, producer responsible for this very popular cabaret series at Helsinki Hudson.

Sarah has been a public radio producer for over fifteen years. She grew up in Saranac Lake, New York where she worked part-time at Pendragon Theatre all through high school and college. She graduated from UAlbany in 2006 with a BA in English and started at WAMC a few weeks later as a part-time board-op in the control room. Through a series of offered and seized opportunities she is now the Senior Contributing Producer of The Roundtable and Producer of The Book Show. During the main thrust of the Covid-19 pandemic shut-down, Sarah hosted a live Instagram interview program "A Face for Radio Video Series." On it, Sarah spoke with actors, musicians, comedians, and artists about the creative activities they were accomplishing and/or missing.
