Albany, NY – A University of Vermont researcher has just published the largest breast cancer surgery study ever done. The study focuses on a procedure called the sentinel node biopsy and 51%'s Pat Bradley spoke with the lead researcher, UVM surgeon Dr. David Krag.

If you or someone you know has dealt with cancer, you know how lonely it can be. There's a place called the pastures in Western Massachusetts that calls itself a gathering place for women with cancer. They're launching the Pastures Retreat Program, the Pastures fund and face forward: the jane iredale walk for the pastures fund. Correspondent Bob Barrett spoke with Jane Iredale, the founder of a makeup line who's donated a grant toward the new retreat program.
