Anne Richard
Hamilton College

Immigration policy has been a top political issue in Washington for years, becoming increasingly divisive. Part of the debate includes how the United States handles people seeking refugee status in America. Anne Richard, a former assistant secretary of state in the Obama administration, is now a visiting professor at Hamilton College. She is presenting a lecture on refugee policy at the private liberal arts school in Clinton, New York at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Richard spoke with WAMC’s Jim Levulis about what she will discuss.

Jim was WAMC’s Assistant News Director and hosted WAMC's flagship news programs: Midday Magazine, Northeast Report and Northeast Report Late Edition.
