Zurlo was elected Saratoga County Sheriff in 2013. He is a lifelong resident of Saratoga County and a graduate of Mechanicville High School. A former judge of the Town of Stillwater, Sheriff Zurlo has spent more than 30 years of his law enforcement career working for the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, as a deputy, sergeant, lieutenant and senior criminal investigator.
