After more than 40 years of boycotting, former New York Governor Mario Cuomo has finally watched ‘The Godfather.’ He said it in 1972 that the movie—and the way that the mafia has been presented in popular culture—sends a horrible message, stereotyping Italian-Americans. And he’s saying it again now…even though he admitted the movie was artistically good.
