Albany, NY – The Iowa Caucuses, considered by many the true start of the presidential campaign season, will kick-off later this evening in the Hawkeye State.

After a series of debates in 2011, no less than seven republican candidates remain in the running. The race has been a rollercoaster leading up to tonight's event, with former Massachusetts Governor and presumed front-runner Mitt Romney consistently taking slight leads in the polls followed by Ron Paul, and most recently, Rick Santorum, who this week was endorsed by right-leaning media mogul Rupert Murdoch via Twitter.

On today's edition of Vox Pop, what do you think tonight's results mean for the GOP nomination, the November election, and the politics of the country? Will Romney take center stage, or will Newt Gingrich, Santorum, or Paul chalk up their first major win of the race?

What will the results mean for the Republican Party line, and what could that mean for other high profile legislative races, an example of which can be seen in Scott Brown's re-election campaign. WAMC's Alan Chartock hosts.
