Albany, NY – Last week, embattled Madoff matriarch Ruth Madoff told 60 Minutes and the New York Times that she and jailed Ponzi scheming husband Bernie attempted suicide shortly after he was arrested in 2008. The revelation came just days before two other Madoffs released books based on their harrowing experiences with the family.
