Albany, NY – Debt talks with Congress are taking the next step at the White House today. President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden have been meeting with Senate Democratic leaders. The administration is trying to get an agreement on spending cuts and an increase in the government's borrowing authority. Republicans have said tax increases are a non-starter.
