Albany, NY – The New York Times is reporting the millionaires' tax may be on its way back in New York State. Reprising one of the biggest battles of this year's budget season, the state Assembly speaker, Sheldon Silver, introduced a bill on Tuesday that would extend the income-tax surcharge on some high-earning New Yorkers beyond its scheduled expiration at the end of the year.
