Albany, NY – New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says state lawmakers don't want real ethics reform despite years of scandal. Cuomo also says if the state legislature doesn't pass substantially stronger ethical standards, he'll appoint an investigative commission. Although New York State is a primary offender when it comes to ethical wrongdoing with lawmakers, other states have experienced similar problems, as have legislative bodies at the federal level.
