Albany, NY – At the national level, President Obama visits a school in the Boston, Massachusetts area today. He's building on his State of the Union call for America to "out-educate" competing countries through innovative, twenty-first century education strategies. At the state level, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced yesterday that he'll try to fast-track plans to implement a statewide, objective teacher evaluation system based on both performance and seniority, for school districts to use when making employment decisions. So it seems politicians would like to see changes made to the nation's education system, but what about you? On this edition of Vox Pop, WAMC's Ray Graf asks listeners "Is America's education system in need of reform and, if so, what changes would you make?"
