Regional Food Bank

With the festive season behind us and warmer weather on the horizon, many organizations that rely on volunteers are bracing for fewer helpers being on hand. WAMC’s Sajina Shrestha went to the Regional Food Bank, where SUNY students are hoping to raise awareness about the importance of giving back.

Food Bank employees, non-profit organizations, and volunteers stood outside the Regional Food Bank in Latham to announce preparations for their Thanksgiving Distribution event in the Regional Food Bank’s 23-county service area.

Officials from the Regional Food Bank were in Plattsburgh today to announce a Thanksgiving food distribution initiative in the North Country.
