Purple Heart Trail

Purple Heart recipients in the North Country were honored Thursday evening during a ceremony at Plattsburgh’s Battlefield Memorial Gateway Park.

Just before Veterans’ Day, Guilderland in Albany County got to celebrate its new designation as a Purple Heart Town.

The Town of Plattsburgh has received an award for its efforts to create the Battlefield Memorial Gateway Park.
