Cohoes murder

Cohoes murder suspect Anthony Bechand appeared before the Albany County Court today/on Monday, and was charged with felony counts of murder, burglary, and tampering with evidence. Bechand is suspected of killing his girlfriend, 41-year-old Amanda Rodriguez. WAMC’s Maryam Ahmad reports.

Cohoes Police Chief Todd Walden and Cohoes City Mayor William T. Keeler announced on Friday that 53-year-old Anthony Bechand, who is suspected of murdering his girlfriend, Amanda Rodriguez, was found and arrested by State Police Friday morning in Franklin County .

State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding Anthony Bechand, who is suspected of murdering his girlfriend in Cohoes earlier this month.
