Joined by her colleagues from across the Northeast, Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is detailing a flurry of court actions her office and others are taking in the face of multiple executive orders issued by the Trump administration.

Attorneys general from 22 states including Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and Vermont are suing, saying President Trump’s attempt to end birthright citizenship through executive order is illegal.

22 states and the American Civil Liberties Union have filed lawsuits to block President Trump’s executive order to end birthright citizenship.

Under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, if you are born on U.S. soil, you automatically are a citizen. Now, President Donald Trump is looking to end that.
