Chevron and two other oil companies announce that they have successfully tested a new oil well deep in the Gulf of Mexico. An exploratory oil rig, drilling to a record-setting depth and pressure, flowed at a rate of 6,000 barrels of crude oil per day, and the find has the potential to be a significant new energy source.

Chris J. Strolin and his team of contributors from around the world are attempting to redefine each and every word in the English language with a limerick. So far, they've completed 6,228 limericks. The dictionary is called The Omnificent English Dictionary in Limerick Form. Mr. Strolin tells NPR's Scott Simon how he came up with the idea and how they've redefined antidisestablishmentarianism.

Under pressure from an independent panel investigating the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the White House Saturday declassified the President's Daily Brief document from August 6, 2001. President Bush says the just-released President's Daily Brief document from August 6, 2001, lacked enough information to prevent an attack on the United States. TV and movie score composer Mancini created the title theme to the The Pink Panther movies. A new special DVD 40th anniversary collection of Pink Panther films is available April 6. There's also a tribute CD, Pink Panther's Penthouse Party. His other film scores included Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Glenn Miller Story and The Days of Wine and Roses. He also wrote the theme for the TV show Peter Gunn.
