Vermonters Urged To Mail Ballots Soon

Vermont’s top election official is urging voters to return their ballots to town clerks soon.
All registered voters in Vermont were sent ballots for the November general election.

Secretary of State Jim Condos said Wednesday that voters should mail their ballots by October 24th.

Ballots can also be brought to the town clerk’s office before Election Day, or the ballot can be put in a secure drop box if one is available.

People can also vote in person at the polls on Election Day and are encouraged, but do not have to, bring the ballots they were mailed to the polls with them.
