State police are investigating the death of a woman in northern New York.
Police were called to Gougeville Spring Road in Cadyville, just west of Plattsburgh, Wednesday morning following a report that a woman had been found dead outside her home.
The unidentified 51-year-old was taken to the University of Vermont Healthcare Network-CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh where an autopsy is planned.
The preliminary investigation indicates the woman may have suffered a ‘medical episode’ and fallen. No foul play is suspected.
