At the end of July Mayor Miro Weinberger sent a default letter to the developers of a stalled redevelopment project in the center of downtown Burlington. A new partnership has now formed to take over the project.Brookfield Developers turned the downtown development project back to the original developer. Don Sinex of Devonwood Investors says he has created a new partnership with local investors to complete the project.

According to WCAX television S.D. Ireland Companies, Farrington Construction and Omega Electric will revise the plan, most notably, a 10-story hotel will be converted to housing units.

The revised development plan is expected to be filed by the middle of September.
