How Much Attention Was The Public Paying To The Mueller Investigation?

Republicans are taking a victory lap now that President Trump and his 2016 election campaign have been cleared of collusion with Russia.

But Democrats are pointing out that special counsel Robert Mueller’s two-year investigation did not exonerate the president on the question of whether he obstructed justice.

Legally, President Trump appears to be in the clear. But what happens politically?

WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with Tim Vercellotti, professor of political science and director of the polling institute at Western New England University.

The record-setting tenure of Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno. The 2011 tornado and its recovery that remade the largest city in Western Massachusetts. The fallout from the deadly COVID outbreak at the Holyoke Soldiers Home. Those are just a few of the thousands and thousands of stories WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill has covered for WAMC in his nearly 17 years with the station.
