Transportation Security Administration officials confiscated a loaded gun from a passenger’s carry on baggage at the Plattsburgh International Airport checkpoint.
Clinton County Legislator and physician Jonathan Beach was passing through the airport checkpoint when TSA officials detected a loaded gun in his travelers bag. The county sheriff’s department was notified and confiscated the 9mm Barretta firearm. Sheriff David Favro says Beach immediately provided his permit for the gun.
Beach told the Plattsburgh Press Republican he has two identical bags and grabbed the wrong one when he left to catch a plane to Boston.
