Regional Newspaper Sends Reporters To Sochi

WAMC/Pat Bradley

The newspaper in the center of the Adirondacks covering Saranac Lake and Lake Placid is sending two of its reporters to the Sochi Olympics.  Chris Knight talks about his trip to Russia to cover the local athletes competing in the winter games.

The Adirondack Daily Enterprise received two grants, one from the Charles Decker Memorial Scholarship Fund via the Adirondack Foundation and the other from the New York Press Association, enabling the newspaper to send two reporters to Sochi. It’s the first time Chris Knight has been on site covering an Olympics.

Chris Knight, who will file reports and blog for the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, departs for Sochi, Russia on Monday.
