Gov. Cuomo Announces New Travel Policy Ahead Of Thanksgiving Holiday
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has issued new travel guidance ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Speaking with reporters Saturday morning, the Democrat said travelers must test negative for COVID-19 within three days prior to arriving in New York.
After arrival, travelers must quarantine for three days and may take a test on the fourth day. If the test is returned negative, the quarantine restrictions can be lifted.
The policy applies to travelers from states except those that border New York.
The governor said New Yorkers who travel outside of the state for less than 24 hours must take a COVID-19 test within four days upon returning.
