Parts Of New York Under Lake Effect Snow Warnings

There is a lake effect snow warning for Jefferson, Lewis and Oswego counties until Friday and in Northern Herkimer and Hamilton Counties until 1 p.m. Thursday. Expected accumulations range from 6 to 18 inches which could bring totals in some places to three feet.

Parts of Western New York, including Erie, Genesee and Wyoming counties are also under a lake effect snow warning with up to 10 inches possible throughout Thursday.
