Another former employee of the shuttered Eagleton School for young men with emotional and behavioral issues has pleaded guilty to charges related to abuse.
44-year-old Debra Davis of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty in Berkshire Superior Court last week to one count of assault and battery on a disabled person, two counts of failure to report abuse of a disabled person, one count of misleading a police officer, and one count of intimidation of a witness.
Judge John Agostini fined her $1000 for the two counts of failure to report abuse and accepted her plea, but left the other charges without a finding for another year. The District Attorney’s office says the crimes took place between November 1, 2015 and January 13, 2016. The Eagleton School closed in April 2016 after a torrent of abuse charges emerged from the residential treatment facility in Great Barrington.
